Discover Your New Support Worker Role – Atherton / Mareeba
Location: Atherton, Mareeba & surrounding Tablelands communities
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Service Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm (flexible within client needs)
Contract: 20-hour fortnightly contract
Hourly Rate: $34.59 per hour + 12% superannuation

What Your Day Will Look Like
Domestic Assistance
Support clients with light cleaning and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and tidy home environment.
Personal Care
Support with showering, dressing, and grooming so clients feel their best.
Transport
Assist clients to attend appointments, run errands, or complete grocery shopping—helping them stay connected and independent.
Meal Preparation
Prepare simple meals or batch cook to make daily living easier and more enjoyable.
Medication Support
Help maintain routines and ensure medications are taken on time.
Meaningful Moments
Build trusted relationships and bring companionship, confidence, and positivity into your clients’ day.

You might start your morning supporting personal care, then head out across Atherton or Mareeba to assist another client with shopping or appointments. In between, you’re travelling through the beautiful Tablelands and building genuine connections that make a real difference.
It’s flexible, meaningful work where even a short shift can have a big impact on someone’s independence and wellbeing.
What You’ll Bring
* A genuine passion for supporting older people and making a difference
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent)
* Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (fleet vehicle also provided for work use)
* Willingness to obtain comprehensive car insurance, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Confidence using smartphones and digital systems
