We are looking for Junior Chef or Trade Cook to joining our team in the Wyvern area. Working in a hospital environment, the client is looking for someone who adapts to fast paced environments but is also thorough and adaptable to changes day by day. The successful candidates will have the following attributes and experience: - Cert II in commercial cookery (or equivalent) - 1 - 2 years in a la carte environment (preferred) - Recent flu vaccine - National police check - Reliable transport - Unlimited working rights Your key responsibilities will include but not limited too: - Assisting in food preparation on the line in cold larder - Managing inventory of ingredients and other kitchen items - Team work and collaboration with all staff on site - Maintaining and adhering to cleanliness and WHS Standards - Time management and meeting kip's within the kitchen - A solid foundation of food preparation and culinary skills - Basic food safety knowledge Shifts: 10am-3pm 3-4 days a week or 11am-7pm from Wednesday - Friday If this sounds like you please apply now or reach out to use at kayla.huckins@excels.com.au
