Activities Officer – UnitingCare Queensland
Permanent part‑time opportunity, 30 hours per fortnight. Location: Sunrise Beach Aged Care Facility.
Remuneration: $36.32 per hour plus super, salary packaging, penalties & allowances, and employee discounts.
Roster: Monday & Wednesday, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
* Develop, coordinate and lead activities for residents to meet their social and recreational needs while supporting independence and improving quality of life.
* Observe and record the effectiveness of programs, monitor resident progress and adjust programs to evolving needs.
* Transport residents on approved outings using Blue Care vehicles and assist with resident/client personal care needs where required.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification.
* Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets and laptops.
* Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
* NDIS Workers Screening or willingness to obtain it.
* Open driver's licence.
