Job Overview

Maven is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our expansion into the Labor and Public markets on the West Coast. This role requires a strong sales leader who can develop and execute a strategy to achieve pipeline and bookings targets while supporting broader business goals.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a strategy to expand Maven's footprint in the Labor and Public market, including building relationships with key stakeholders and identifying new business opportunities.
* Present Maven's value proposition to prospects and close deals, both virtually and in person, at industry events (approximately 40% travel required).
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Strategic Sales Associates, to build and increase pipeline across the market segment.
* Manage a team through the sales process, from qualification to close, and ensure accurate pipeline reflection of each stage of the cycle.
* Present accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics to the management team, making recommendations for improvements, resource allocation, and investments.


Requirements

This role requires:

* 6+ years of relevant experience in Labor and Public healthcare sales or consulting, with a track record of managing teams driving large dollar contracts within the collectively bargained marketplace.
* A successful history of leading Labor and Public sales teams to meet/exceed quota attainment.
* Process-oriented leadership skills, with a proven ability to scale organizations to drive increasingly efficient growth.
* A growth mindset that thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.
* Demonstrated comfort with data, including interpreting and discussing analytics with ease in conversations with individuals of varying levels of understanding.
* A proven track record in identifying, building, and managing complex business partnerships that involve growing revenue and market share.
* Thoughtful and organized collaboration, working with and leading cross-functional teams.
