About the Role:
Payne Diesel Services, trading as Ausdraulics, is seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Fitter, with earthmoving and hydraulic experience, to join our team. This full-time position offers a mix of workshop, and on-site work, supporting a wide range of clients across industries such as; mining, marine, and civil industry. We specialise in hydraulic component overhauls, equipment maintenance & fixed plant maintenance.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Performing field service and breakdown work at Local and Remote Client Locations
* Overhauling components and machinery in our fully equipped workshop
* Completing engine repairs and diagnosis primarily with Deutz, Perkins and Mercedes engines
* Mix of fixed and mobile plant maintenance
What We're Looking For
* Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter/ Fitter and Turner (or equivalent experience)
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic, grease and equipment systems
* Confident in diagnostics and fault-finding
* Ability to work independently, especially on breakdown and remote service work
* Experience with Deutz, Perkins and Off-Highway Mercedes engines (advantageous)
* Experience with earthmoving equipment (advantageous)
* Experience on fixed plant (Processing Plants, crushing plants)
* Solid commitment to safety protocols and high-quality workmanship
