The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Regional MEM Sales Manager, to join our Crushing Solutions division, based at our new Wattleup facility. In this newly created full-time, permanent role you will be responsible for driving sales growth, increasing market share, and implementing customer maintenance plans across the WA Workshops, with a primary focus on Excavator and Bucket Refurbishment. The role also promotes the broader capabilities of H-E Parts International (HEPI), with a strong emphasis on integrated service offerings across mobile and fixed plant sales, shutdown services, and off-site component repairs.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Increase sales, margin, and market share for HEPI Crushing Solutions specifically focusing on Excavator and Bucket Refurbishment initially, then transitioning to refurbishments for all Mobile Equipment.
* Develop and deliver Sales Plans, Marketing Strategy, and support Brand Building.
* Provide exceptional customer service and product performance issue management.
* Identify new opportunities for all HEPI departments – specifically the WA Workshops including Manufacturing, Off Site Repairs (OSR), On Site Services (OSS) and HEPI Engineering (HEPE).
* Build and maintain excellent client relationships at multiple levels and disciplines.
* Meet financial objectives through sales and gross margin results in line with budget.
* Provide technical assistance where requested including budget estimates proposals.
* Develop quotes that meet the customer requirement and proactively follow up. Engage with internal resources such as the OSS, OSR, Manufacturing and Crusher Sales as appropriate to develop these quote.
* Comply with the company requirements of confidentiality of information acquired in the course of one's work except when authorised or otherwise legally obligated to disclose.
* Contribute to new product development by highlighting opportunities in the market.
* Keep abreast of industry development and any market information. Effectively disseminate this information to management and key staff members.
* Share knowledge and maintain skills important and relevant to client's needs.
* Support and contribute to building HEPI's safety culture.
About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
* Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or technical background (Trades qualified or Engineering)
* Broad range of contacts in mining, quarrying and heavy industries
* 10 years' experience in sales in similar industries
* Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
* Experience with managing budgets, P&L management, and cost benefit analysis
* Competent with Pronto, Salesforce and MS Office suite
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills adaptable to various levels of corporate structure
* Strong business acumen and industry expertise
