**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**:
We are currently seeking, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Aircrew Officers to join our Bell 412 operations in New South Wales, Australia.
The role requires flexibility and working away from home base at short notice and offers competitive salary and an emphasis on work/ life balance.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Work as part of a team in a helicopter flight crew to ensure all operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner as required by the company operations manual.
- To ensure role equipment is maintained and in good condition for each mission and facilitate appropriate repair or maintenance of this equipment when required.
- Ensure aircraft are in a state of readiness regarding cleanliness, role equipment and appropriately configured, weighed, and secure for each mission.
- Complete pre-flight and post-flight documentation and inspections.
- Conduct briefing and passenger administration as required for the mission.
- Assist in the logistics of flight crew when deployed.
- Provide accurate visual observation and information to the Pilot of flight relevant data including clearances, personnel movements, and flight safety related issues.
- Operate rescue hoist and associated role equipment IAW Coulson Aviation Australia Operations Manual.
- Perform duties in the Front Left Seat (FLS) and using Night Vision Imaging Systems (NVIS) as qualified.
- Conduct other duties as allocated by the Senior Aircrew Officer or Chief Pilot.
**Experience Requirements**:
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Vehicle Drivers Licence
- Ability to obtain an Australian Class 2 Medical
- Excellent crew resource management and communication skills.
**Desirable Qualifications/Experience**
- SAR / Rescue/ Fire Personnel Winching operational qualifications and experience
- External Load (Sling load) Rigging techniques operational Experience
- Knowledge and experience in aerial firefighting operations
- HUET Certificate of Competency
- Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate of Competency
- Certificate IV Aviation (Aircrewman) AVI40116 or AVI40119
- Perform Non-Pilot cockpit duties experience or qualification
- NVIS Aircrew member.
- Aircrew Member Instructor/ training qualifications
