We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician - Supervisor to lead and mentor a dedicated team of technicians. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery for HVAC and refrigeration systems, meeting Australian standards and client expectations. This role combines hands‐on technical expertise with leadership and administrative responsibilities, supporting our mission to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused mechanical services.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of 5-10 technicians.
* Conduct surveys, inspections, and testing of HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure compliance with standards and contractual obligations.
* Identify opportunities to generate sales for repairs, replacements, and upgrades within existing customer accounts.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Manage call reports, timesheets, route planning, stock levels, and other administrative tasks.
* Maximise operational efficiencies and revenue generation through effective planning and customer engagement.
* Participate in an on-call roster for after‐hours service calls.
* Maintain up-to‐date knowledge of industry trends, equipment, and regulations.
* Promote a strong health, safety, and environmental culture by complying with all Equans and client policies.
* Occasional travel required.

What We Are Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial/industrial HVAC service, maintenance, or installation.
* Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a technical team.
* Solid knowledge of Australian Standards and industry codes related to HVAC systems.
* Strong communication, problem‐solving, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Qualification and Licensing Requirements
1. Driver's License (Mandatory)
2. Cert III in Airconditioning and Refrigeration.
3. Restricted Electrical License (Mandatory)
4. Australian National Arctic Refrigerant Handling Licence.
5. Applicable Trade Licence.
6. Defence Clearance or ability to obtain Defence Clearance (Mandatory)
7. Must be an Australian Citizen to obtain Defence Clearance.
