Hansen's Automotive & Gas in Toowoomba, Queensland is looking for a skilled and passionate Light Vehicle Mechanic / Auto Technician to join full time.
In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping our customers' vehicles running safely and efficiently.
Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and repairs will help us continue delivering the high-quality service that our workshop is known for.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, electrical and suspension problems
Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, tune-ups, and tyre rotations
Conduct vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or services
Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex mechanical problems
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Maintain detailed records of all work performed
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
What we're looking for
Australian recognised Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade Qualification
Australian Driver's license
Be able to supply your own tools
Proven experience with vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and fault diagnostics across a variety of vehicle types
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing high-quality work
Unlimited Australian work rights - no restrictions
A Safety Certificate Licence would be an advantage, but not required
Provide 2 work related referees
This position will initially be subject to a 3 month probationary period.
Wages negotiable on right candidate.
