Due to growth, our well-established national client requires a sales representative/bdm to join their well-established business in the construction industry.
This is a sales role for the person who has a passion for hunting, and pounding the pavement out in the field. You will have that real hunger to accomplish your targets driving sales to current heights. You will be strategic and passionate about what you do and about their product.
**The Role**
- Manage and follow up online and telephone enquiries
- Research, identify and create a pipeline of potential clients
- Manage the whole sales cycle from lead to quote to delivery to close, and issues
- Build relationships with existing and potential clients
- Manage the CRM system with all sales activity and correspondence notes
- Keep abreast of competitor activity
- Liaise with other sales team members and other departments
**To be Successful**:
- Minimum 2 years in a similar business development position (internal or external).
- Experience working in the sales of products in the construction industry to Tier 1 & 2 clients
- Good relationships with construction industry clientele (a definite advantage)
- A good understanding of building pipelines, and understanding of sales strategy
- Excellent presentation
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle the whole sales process from start to finish
- Great negotiation skillset
- Flexible and strategic mindset
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for hunting new business
- Love of pounding the pavement
- MS Office skillset (intermediate) and CRM knowledge and understanding

**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
