Volunteer Opportunity at the Waverley Park Homestead
Contribute to the ongoing exhibition called Our District: Willunga Districts Built Heritage Art, featuring four temporary exhibitions annually, each lasting three months.
We are seeking volunteers to assist with opening and closing duties, visitor engagement, event support, and general gallery operations.
As a volunteer, you will work alongside our Acting Manager and curator team to bring this unique exhibition to life.
The gallery is open from 1 pm to 4 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Successful applicants will need to register with the relevant authorities and undergo a Working with Children and Police Check (at no cost).
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with opening and closing duties
* Provide excellent customer service and engage with visitors
* Support events and activities
* Contribute to general gallery operations
Requirements:
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to commit to regular shifts
Flexibility and adaptability
