Role Overview
Kinetic is seeking an HSEQ Advisor to support our Central Queensland team. Based in Mackay, this role will provide essential support in implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Enhance health, safety, environment, and quality management plans, strategies, policies, procedures, and documentation with the HSEQ Manager.
* Conduct regular on-site assessments across locations to ensure HSEQ best practices are followed.
* Provide HSEQ training and promote a positive safety culture among staff.
* Identify improvement opportunities, develop solutions, and implement them with teams.
* Monitor and report on HSEQ metrics and communicate with regulatory agencies and senior management.
* Promote adherence to Kinetics' HSEQ Management Systems and risk controls.
* Assist in incident and risk management processes, including timely reporting, investigation, corrective action closure, and knowledge sharing.
* Support the local Continuous Improvement Committee in monitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance within the business unit.
* Prepare for and support third-party audits and certifications.
Requirements
* Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Knowledge of applicable WHS legislation.
* Excellent communication skills and strong integrity.
* Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong numerical analytical skills.
* Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to business operations.
* Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
