As a Radiologic Technologist in Urgent Care, you play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and performing a range of diagnostic imaging procedures. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining organization and facilitating efficient patient flow.
About the Role
This is a full-time position with a regular day shift schedule. You will be working at a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology to support your work.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology and experience in urgent care or emergency department settings. Previous experience with laboratory testing and radiographic exams is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform basic radiological examinations, including quality controls and clerical duties.
* Process reference laboratory specimens, including venipuncture, specimen handling and labeling, and tracking results.
* Document and report all procedures and assessments accurately and legibly.
* Utilize age-specific guidelines to assess patients during clinical check-in and document pertinent medical information and vital signs.
Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Current Florida State license – General Radiographer (RT) required.
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification required.
* Continued maintenance of BAT Certification and Drug Screen Certification required.
