Overview of the Role:
You'll gain hands‑on experience working on cutting‑edge electric buses and heavy vehicles, learning from industry professionals. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about innovation, sustainability, and building a career in the growing field of heavy vehicle mechanics.
Operational Responsibilities:
* Assist with mechanical repairs and servicing, including engines, hydraulics, electrical, and braking systems, under supervision.
* Work on cutting‑edge electric buses, learning how to maintain and repair sustainable, eco‑friendly vehicles.
* Learn to read electrical and hydraulic schematics with guidance.
* Participate in test‑driving vehicles after repairs to ensure safety, under supervision.
* Accurately record work hours for each repair task.
* Always maintain a professional appearance.
* Support and follow sustainability practices in the workplace.
* Develop time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
* Communicate clearly and politely with customers and colleagues.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
* Help with general maintenance as directed by the Supervisor.
