This is a rare opportunity The Corporate Development function at Computershare is responsible for the exploration and execution of acquisition and divestment activity for the Group globally, as well as supporting the Executive Management team and Board with the development of the Group's corporate strategy.

**An influential role you will love**
Reporting to the Chief Corporate Development Officer, you will be a member of a high performing team responsible for the exploration and execution of long-term strategic initiatives, including the evaluation and assessment of global merger and acquisition opportunities and divestments.
The team operates at a global level working with business unit heads and divisional CEO's and interacts with the Computershare Board and relevant Board Sub-Committees, as appropriate. All transactions and projects involve co-ordination and management of a number of diverse internal departments, senior stakeholders and external parties. Transactions and projects are global, and can vary considerably in size, sector and geography, but most are complex in nature and many transformational for the division or Group strategy.
This role provides you with the opportunity for meaningful international deal exposure and provides potential career pathways into broader commercial/operational roles within Computershare if desired.
**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:
- Preparing transaction related financial and valuation models and merger/demerger impact analysis
- Preparing key internal transaction governance/investment papers
- Preparing external marketing materials and key process related documents
- Transaction process project management and coordination, including managing and coordinating due diligence activities
- Preparing corporate strategy materials for senior business executives and the Board
**What will you bring to the role?**
**Other key skills required include**:
- M&A/Corporate Finance experience in investment banking, corporate finance advisory, internal M&A, corporate development or strategy functions within a large corporate
- Proven track record in the end-to-end support and execution of mergers and acquisitions of varying size and complexity
- Experience conducting financial due diligence analysis, modelling and preparing succinct materials and reports for Executive Management and Board
- Strategic mindset with a high level of attention to detail and strong evaluative judgment
- Demonstrated success engaging and building rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience supporting large scale workstreams/projects partnering with internal teams and external advisors to achieve group outcomes
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with strong relationship skills
- Highly motivated, with the ability to work autonomously and with team members
