A leading Australian engineering consultancy specialising in process and packaging solutions across the food, dairy and beverage sectors is seeking a Process Engineer to join its Sydney-based team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative, and practical engineering outcomes, the business continues to experience sustained growth and has an exciting pipeline of projects underway across multiple manufacturing sites.
Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include :
* Managing end-to-end delivery of capital projects across packaging systems
* Executing projects from concept through to commissioning and handover
* Coordinating project schedules to ensure delivery within agreed scope, budget, and timeframes
* Overseeing implementation activities, maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality
* Driving cost-effective, fit-for-purpose engineering solutions
* Collaborating with internal engineering teams, clients, and equipment suppliers to resolve technical queries and achieve successful outcomes
Your Background
To be successful in this role, you will have :
* Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
* Ideally between 2-5 years experience managing capital projects within the dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, or related FMCG manufacturing industries
* A mix of hands-on and strategic project management capability
* Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple stakeholders
* Proven ability to deliver practical, results-driven packaging solutions in fast-paced environments
