We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated principal to join our team at Evandale Primary School. As a principal, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the growth and development of our school community.
About the Role
The Principal is responsible for leading and managing the school to ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes for all students. This involves developing and implementing effective policies, procedures, and programs to promote student achievement and well-being.
Main Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school community
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership and management skills, as well as a strong understanding of curriculum design and pedagogy. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
Desirable Requirements
• Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005
Benefits
