About the Role
One full time Building Associate is required at Dhillon Construction Pty Ltd. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Building Associate to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will assist in the coordination and supervision of building projects, ensuring construction works are carried out in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and applicable building regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in coordinating and monitoring building and construction projects from commencement to completion.
* Review and interpret building plans, specifications, drawings, and construction documentation.
* Conduct site inspections to assess construction progress and ensure compliance with project requirements.
* Monitor construction activities to ensure work is performed in accordance with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
* Liaise with builders, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders regarding project requirements and site activities.
* Assist in scheduling labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities to support efficient project delivery.
* Identify and report construction defects, variations, delays, and compliance issues.
* Maintain project records, inspection reports, progress reports, and other construction-related documentation.
* Assist in implementing quality assurance procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
* Participate in project meetings and provide updates on site progress and project outcomes.
* Support the resolution of technical and construction-related issues arising during project delivery.
* Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure construction activities meet project specifications.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualification in Building, Construction Management, Civil Construction, Building Technology, or a related field.
* Relevant industry experience in building and construction.
* Ability to read and interpret building plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
* Sound knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and standards.
* Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
* Current driver's licence.
Experience Required
At least 1 year of experience.

90,000 + Super.
