Join a collaborative, patient‐focused pharmacy team within the Tasmanian Department of Health, dedicated to delivering high‐quality, innovative care across the southern region.
The Role
* Assist the Executive Director – Statewide Hospital Pharmacy Operations in providing efficient, effective and consistent pharmacy service to the Southern region of Tasmania.
* Manage local pharmacy processes at the site with a high level of autonomy and initiative, under the supervision of the Executive Director.
* Provide clinical and administrative oversight of pharmacy operations at the site, including teaching, research, dispensing, manufacturing, stores and clinical pharmacy.
* Lead pharmacy staff to ensure statewide directions and initiatives are implemented locally.
* Manage human, physical and financial resources at the site.
* Collaborate with other Pharmacy Site Managers across the state and staff within the Southern region to meet clinical and administrative needs.
* Directly supervise Supervisory Pharmacists, Stores Managers and Specialist Pharmacists as appropriate.
Eligibility
* Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
* Maintain all registration/licences required for the role, ensuring they remain current and valid throughout employment.
* Be willing and able to travel frequently intrastate and occasionally interstate, and be available for on‐call duties.
Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $154,145 to $156,115 per annum. The employer provides a 12% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.
