Customer Support Engineer – Perth, Australia
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer based in Perth.
This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading company in a key customer-facing role that is expanding.
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Based in Western Australia, you will be part of a team of 17 Engineers responsible for maintaining XRF, XRD, and SPE instruments across Australasia, including:
Installation, commissioning, and calibration
Preventative maintenance on instruments
Responding to breakdown calls as needed
This role involves extensive travel—at least 80% of your time within Perth, remote mine sites, and interstate, with occasional overseas travel.
On-call and weekend work may also be required.
Job Requirements:
5+ years of field service experience
Advanced Diploma or higher in Electronics, with strong electro-mechanical skills
West Australian Serviceman's Radiation Safety License (preferred)
IT literacy
Ability to travel on short notice
Passion for customer service
Experience with X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction, or neutron analysis (advantageous)
