About the role
As the Director of our Childcare Centre, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the daily operations of our highly regarded childcare facility in Deception Bay, Queensland. This full‑time position offers you the opportunity to shape the learning environment and enrich the lives of the children in our care. You will be responsible for ensuring the centre's compliance with all relevant regulations and standards while fostering a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive atmosphere for our families.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee the overall management and administration of the childcare centre, including staff supervision, roster management and budget control
* Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and national quality standards
* Maintain positive relationships with families, the local community and relevant regulatory bodies
* Ensure the centre operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and industry best practices
* Lead and develop a high‑performing team of educators, fostering a positive, collaborative work culture
* Continuously evaluate and improve the quality of care and educational experiences provided
* Promote our centre throughout the community through social media and other promotional events
What we're looking for
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role within the childcare industry
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and lead the implementation of exceptional educational programs
* Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and a proven track record of maintaining regulatory compliance
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families and stakeholders
* Passionate about providing high‑quality early childhood education and care
