About this role: We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Cost Planning Manager to lead our cost planning and estimating functions in QLD/NT.
This is a key leadership position that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with various teams. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in senior cost planning or estimating roles within the building construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement regional cost planning strategies for the Building Division.
* Collaborate with project teams to gather cost data and market insights, ensuring accuracy and reliability in cost planning and estimation.
* Oversee the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and budgets for large-scale building projects, taking into account risk analysis, cost benchmarking, and value engineering.
Requirements:
* Possess proven experience in senior cost planning or estimating roles within the building construction industry.
* Demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage teams effectively.
* Have a deep understanding of cost planning methodologies and tools, as well as commercial acumen and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
* Show exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different levels of the organization.
