Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Register patients, update their medical records, and verify insurance information
- Schedule appointments, manage provider schedules, and coordinate referrals as needed
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate staff
- Collect co-payments and fees, and process payments using electronic medical records systems
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by clinic management
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a busy GP clinic essential
- 'BEST PRACTICE' System experience HIGHLY regarded
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work well in a team-oriented environment
