Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for data migration and HR systems projects.
* Lead or support end-to-end data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation logic, validation, and reconciliation.
* Work closely with data architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout migration phases.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications and use cases, with a focus on HR processes and compliance requirements.
* Support system configuration, integration testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
* Analyse gaps between legacy and target HR systems and suggest appropriate solutions.
* Document data flow diagrams, business process models, and data dictionaries.
* Provide input into data governance, security, and privacy related to employee data.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular project status updates.
* Conduct impact analysis of changes to existing systems and processes.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in data migration projects
* Strong experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP).
* Proficient in tools like Excel, SQL, data mapping utilities, and BA tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
* Familiarity with ETL processes and data validation techniques.
* Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
