**Project Manager and Research Fellow, Heart Foundation research program, Healthy Lifestyle Research Program, Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation**
- Our Healthy Lifestyle research has a strong focus on nutrition and physical activity in reproductive aged women. Our team are internationally recognised in this area and are multidisciplinary across dietetics, exercise physiology, endocrinology, epidemiology, public health, health promotion, obstetrics, psychology and midwifery. Our program sits across conditions including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause. It includes mechanistic research, clinical research on lifestyle interventions, large-scale epidemiological research, health services, population health and implementation and translation research.
- We seek to fill a vital position for a project manager and research fellow to enable implementation of a Heart Foundation funded research program focused on optimising screening and management of cardiometabolic conditions during pregnancy to reduce the risk of heart disease for these high-risk women later in life. This will cover risk modelling, biobank development, register adaptation, lifestyle management, stakeholder engagement, qualitative research, co-design and implementation research.
- One year contract with potential extension based on review, 0.8-1.0 FTE

**About Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation (MCHRI), School of Public Health, Monash University and Monash Health**

MCHRI was established in 2005 and has grown from 3 to 180 staff and students. This is a partnership centre across Monash University and Monash Health and provides an implementation laboratory for research and translation embedded and integrated into healthcare. MCHRI works with broader reach across Monash Partners Academic Health Science Centre, nationally and internationally in our research and translation endeavours. Our vision is to create, synthesise, implement and translate clinical, health care and public health knowledge, underpinned by cross sector end user engagement, to deliver health impact. MCHRI has led organisational and individual leadership support programs in healthcare for nearly a decade.

**About Monash Health**

Monash Health is an impressive organisation of seven public hospitals, 21 community health sites, five aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, and we have recently opened the new 230-bed Monash Children's Hospital.

**About the Role**

This role will facilitate project management and implementation of a Heart Foundation funded research program focused on optimising screening and management of cardiometabolic conditions during pregnancy to reduce the risk of heart disease for these high-risk women later in life. Primary skills and responsibilities include:

- Project management including ensuring timelines, deliverables, budget and operational and project targets are met in accordance with funding body's requirements and that risks are considered and mitigated
- Supporting the Steering Committee, Chair and Advisory committee representatives in identifying and implementing project priorities

Relevant tertiary qualifications together with experience in project management and clinical or implementation research.
