Role Overview
As part of a high‐performing legal team, you'll provide trusted, practical advice that enables our people to deliver safely, responsibly and with confidence. This role can be based in either Perth or Brisbane.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‐quality, timely legal advice across multiple business units.
* Manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines.
* Review, negotiate and draft customer and supplier contracts in line with Toll's preferred positions.
* Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and the Global Legal Framework.
* Partner closely with stakeholders to deeply understand operational requirements and risks in service‐based industries.
* Support legal strategy implementation led by Managing Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel.
* Collaborate with fellow lawyers across the Australian Logistics legal team.
* Contribute to group‐wide legal projects.
* Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory changes.

Knowledge & Experience
* Minimum 2 years post‐qualification experience.
* Background in oil & gas, marine, mining, defence, or similar sectors – ideally supporting major corporates or government clients.
* Experience with project and/or corporate documentation.
* Confident in face‐to‐face negotiations.
Technical Skills
* Strong contract drafting and negotiation capabilities.
* Demonstrated ability to juggle tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Strong stakeholder and relationship‐building skills.
* High emotional intelligence, empathy and collaborative mindset.
Qualifications
* Law degree.
* Admitted legal practitioner with a current, unrestricted practising certificate in Australia.
