About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Shotfirer to join our team at Kurri Kurri Quarry Services. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in executing safe and effective blasting operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating loading and initiation designs, carrying out blasts, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to continuous improvement on site.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent leadership skills, have experience operating MMU trucks and associated blasting plant equipment, and hold current BEUL and UHL Security Clearance.
You will work closely with a supportive team of professionals, utilizing Orica's SHOTPlus blasting software to produce blast designs.
