Plant and Equipment Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant and Equipment Manager to join the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth
In this role, you will effectively be based on site to support the Construction/Project Director & HQ Supply Chain with the management of equipment through out the project life cycle.
Project Overview
Webuild is the preferred bidder for the design and construction of the New Women and Babies Hospital in Perth, Western Australia.
Commissioned by the Western Australia Government, the project is destined to replace the century-old King Edward Memorial Hospital and will expand the healthcare services for women, children and their families in the State of Western Australia, transforming the capacity of two important healthcare campuses: the Fiona Stanley Hospital complex and the Osborne Park Hospital.

Responsibilities
Manages the development of the appropriate technical specifications
Ensures all Webuild and external Plant & Equipment complies with, and are maintained in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer and legislative requirements
Development of work packs to ensure sub-contract suppliers and site installation scopes are well defined.
Supporting the Project in developing equipment strategies to optimize costs and maximize utilization
Monitoring that the Construction site's Plant & Equipment is working effectively, safely with minimal downtime
Ensuring that quality requirements are adhered to and that company procedures are followed
What you will bring to the team
10+ years of equipment management experience working on large scale construction/mining projects or other suitable projects works.
Tower crane experience working on large scale construction/mining projects or other suitable projects works
This position requires a motivated individual with good communication skills and a "can do" attitude.
Experience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording.
Experience in Managing Relationships & People Management
Business/Management Diploma/Degree (desirable but not essential)
Mechanical Trade (desirable but not essential)
Construction White/Blue Card
Current C-Class Driving License
