Role and Responsibilities
* Develops, implements and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
* Provides leadership in the ongoing development of clinical practice.
* Initiates and utilises findings of research in the provision of clinical services.
* Contributes to the development and delivery of specialty related education programs.
* Participates in formal processes for the strategic and operational planning for the clinical service.

Ideal Candidate
* Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
* Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
* Extensive understanding of speciality disorders and their current management.
* Extensive knowledge of good clinical practice, policies and procedure.
