Burl by Design is currently seeking a reliable, organised, proactive, customer-focused and personable individual to join our small but wonderful team. The role of shop manager includes (but is not limited to) the following; assisting with day-to-day operations, leading customer and supplier communication (email, phone and face-to-face), workflow management and scheduling, general cleaning/tidying, organising stock and framing materials, stock ordering, sales, and general admin tasks. This position is based at our store in Albion, and we are delighted to offer a flexible, part-time working arrangement. Management or project management experience is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. This position would be perfect for an Albion or inner-city-suburb local who is looking to work 12-15hrs/week (3hrs per day, 5 days a week - negotiable) with the freedom to choose a work schedule that suits their lifestyle.
