Overview
Site Manager - Electrical Infrastructure (HV / Substations). Location: Adelaide, SA. We are partnering with a leading energy infrastructure contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager. This is a permanent opportunity based in Adelaide, with responsibility for managing site-based delivery of substation, switchyard, and renewable energy projects across Australia.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled Site Manager with strong High Voltage (HV), substation, or heavy electrical infrastructure experience. In this role, you will oversee construction activities on major projects, coordinating teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe and efficient delivery. You'll be the key site leader, managing day-to-day operations and acting as the primary link between the project management team, stakeholders, and crews on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage site-based teams and subcontractors across HV substation and electrical infrastructure projects.
* Drive compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Oversee scheduling, budgets, and progress reporting to ensure timely project delivery.
* Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships throughout project delivery.
* Foster a productive, safety-first culture across all site operations.
About You
* Previous experience managing site-based construction of HV substations, switchyards, or large-scale electrical projects.
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors.
* Solid understanding of WHS, quality, and environmental compliance.
* Electrical trade qualifications or an engineering background (highly regarded).
* Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
