About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive. As a mid-market Account Executive, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
As a champion for businesses of all sizes, we believe in providing solutions that meet their unique needs and exceed their expectations. You will spend your days prospecting to small, medium and large-sized businesses through various means, including outbound lead generation, door-to-door prospecting, cold calling / email, referrals and more.
Your goal will be to understand the pain points and requirements of business owners, then formulate the right solution to meet their needs. This includes meticulously managing your leads and deals pipeline within a CRM tool, owning the full sales cycle from planning to closing new deals, and staying up-to-date with industry trends relevant to your merchants.
Collaboration is key in this role, working closely with the Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Operations teams to relay customer feedback and shape the future of our company as it scales both domestically and globally.
Responsibilities:
* Prospect and engage with business owners and decision-makers to build strong relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
* Develop commercially sound deals across a wide variety of customer use cases, verticals, and complex economics.
* Maintain accurate records and reporting on sales activity, performance, and pipeline progress.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our solutions remain competitive and effective.
* Act as a champion for our merchants' needs, providing exceptional customer service and support to drive long-term success.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* 4+ years of experience in a sales position with proven ability to achieve quarterly goals.
* A genuine passion for understanding people and their businesses, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen, with the ability to successfully manage and grow revenue.
* Proficient in using CRM tools, such as Hubspot or similar software.
