Essential criteria:
* Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator, Senior Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor within civil or construction contracting
* Strong understanding of contract structures, commercial risk and legal implications
* Experience working within contractor delivery environments across infrastructure, civil or industrial projects
* Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar

The Position
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of projects from pre contract through to final account.
Depending on your background as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
Skills and Experience
* Administration of head contracts and subcontract packages
* Preparation, negotiation and letting of subcontract agreements
* Managing client and subcontractor variations
* Assessment and submission of progress claims
* Administration of extensions of time and contractual notices
* Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Measuring and valuing works completed on site
* Preparing cost reports and monitoring project financial performance
* Procurement and purchase order management
* Maintaining RFIs, registers and document control systems
* Supporting final accounts and project closeout
You will be commercially astute, detail oriented and confident managing risk while maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
