About the opportunity
Bolton Clarke is seeking an experienced Operations Development Manager to drive capability uplift and support the delivery of key Operational KPIs across our Residential Aged Care (RAC) portfolio.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Residential Aged Care and forming a key part of the Operations Leadership Team, this high‐impact role leads the development, coordination and implementation of operational capability programs and supports operational leaders through periods of change, uplift or risk mitigation.
With deep operational and clinical expertise, you will act as a trusted advisor to Regional Operations Leaders, providing coaching, mentoring and targeted interventions to strengthen performance, accelerate development pathways and support high‐risk homes.

Key activities
* Build operations capability through structured development pathways including job shadowing, secondments, operational projects and talent mobility programs.
* Plan, implement and evaluate annual Operations Development Initiatives as directed by the COO RAC.
* Partner effectively with central teams to ensure high‐quality information flow and alignment across the Operating Rhythm.
* Coordinate and deliver training, coaching and program readiness for operational rollouts (e.g., Talent Marketplace, Carousel, Campaigns, Graduate Nurse Program).
* Provide short‐term on‐site leadership support to high‐risk homes when required.
* Support Directors of Operations with strategic planning, goal setting and execution of operational initiatives.
* Provide mentorship to Operations Managers, General Managers, Care Managers, RNs and home leadership teams.
We would love to hear from you if you have
* Registered Nurse qualification with relevant AHPRA registration.
* Post‐graduate tertiary qualifications (Diploma/Masters) and/or leadership training desirable
* At least 5 years' operational health leadership experience.
* Strong ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
* Advanced aged care sector knowledge and experience supporting high‐risk home turnaround.
* High organisation, analytical capability and strategic acumen.
* Ability to travel intra/interstate at short notice when required.
