We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join our growing Heavy Lift business and lead our Maintenance, Field Service and Rigging Stores teams across Australia.
Our specialist heavy lift and shift business operates as an integrated team supporting our construction and maintenance businesses and provides turnkey heavy lifting and shift services directly for our external customers.Reporting to the General Manager – Heavy Lift you will play a pivotal part in leading our fleet strategy and the team responsible for all facets of Asset Management.
We operate a diverse range of equipment, from LV's and Trucks through to a large fleet of Hydraulic and Crawler Cranes and specialised equipment such as SPMT's.
You will be responsible for the ownership of our fleet strategy, influencing the make-up and size of our fleet, including fleet renewal and overhaul projects with a high level of commercial consideration.

Key Responsibilities Include:Lead from the front in promoting a culture of continuous improvement and team development, with a strong focus on safety culture & training.Co-ordinate and drive our fleet strategy and its associated initiatives.
Engaging key stakeholders to inform investment/disposal decisions.Lead a team of 25 people responsible for managing and maintaining all Plant & Equipment across Australia and recognised by operations as responsive and effective at the delivery of required business outcomes and recognised as trusted sources of advice.Collaborating closely with our operations to right size the fleet and align resources with forecast asset requirements, optimising availability and utilisation.Development and management of KPI's/reporting to ensure clear visibility of fleet availability and maintenance performanceManage and negotiate with a wide range of suppliers and external service providers, providing fit for purpose support and best value solutions.You will lead and coordinate the delivery & support of new/leased plant & equipment to customers both internal and externalEnsure industry leading compliance and quality standards are maintained across our fleet and through our rigging business.Working Cooperatively with the Operational team to ensure maintenance activities are aligned to operational objectives and constraints.Lead the development of maintenance systems and processes to streamline our activities and reduce in field inefficiency.
