The role is designed to support the well-being of young people in out-of-home care. The job holder will provide daily living assistance, health and wellness support, and positive behavior guidance.
About the Role
This position requires a motivated individual who can work effectively with young people, manage behaviors, and maintain a safe environment. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting daily living activities, such as meal preparation and transportation.
* Providing health and wellness support, including administering medication and first aid.
* Engaging young people in social outings and recreational activities.
* Maintaining accurate records of incidents and progress notes.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A demonstrated motivation to work with young people.
* A current paid Working with Children Check, National Police Check, valid Driver's License, First Aid Certificate, and relevant qualification or be working towards one.
* Availability to work rotating rosters, including weekends and overnights.
