HSEQ Advisor
About the Role
Provide HSE support to Tropicana working closely with leaders and crews to enable safe, efficient and compliant delivery.
Responsibilities
* Ensure effective implementation and compliance with the systems and processes outlined in the HSEQ Management Plan.
* Liaise with our clients in relation to WHS activities and site‐based lead and lag indicators.
* Assist with accident/incident investigations as required.
* Facilitate risk assessments to support operations and their ability to control and reduce risks across our activities.
* Complete monthly safety reporting and daily inputs into the company's event management system.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
* Previous surface mining experience in a similar role, accompanied by a tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Working knowledge of the Mines Safety Inspection Act (WA).
* Experience in HSEQ management systems and the ability to implement HSEQ Management Plan deliverables.
* Qualification in incident investigation methodology, such as ICAM.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills.
* High level of computer literacy.
* A can‐do attitude with a strong desire to succeed in the role and a passion for health, safety, environment, and quality.
* Senior First Aid Certificate.
* Current Manual C Class WA Driver's Licence.
