Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
Job Description:
Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization. This includes preparing and processing weekly payroll, completing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) in compliance with tax regulations and deadlines, overseeing and managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, maintaining and updating the general ledger, and assisting in preparing monthly and yearly financial reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need a solid understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience in an end-to-end bookkeeping role. You should be proficient in Xero (or similar) accounting software and MS Excel, with a keen eye for detail and strong time management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the professional services industry is highly advantageous but not a must-have. A positive, reliable attitude and the ability to work well within a team are key to success in this role.
