The roleThe Executive Support and Project Officer is responsible for providing high level and confidential administrative, human resource and project support to the Senior Director, HR Business Intelligence within the Human Resources Branch. Key responsibilities include:

- Manage specific projects assigned by the Senior Director and provide support as required.
- Possess a broad understanding of the political environment and maintain good working knowledge of current issues relating to the successful delivery of projects in the HR Business Intelligence Team.
- Manage and organise all administrative aspects for the Senior Director.
- Provide advice and assistance to senior on services delivered by the HR Business Intelligence team.
- Provide project support to the Reporting and Insights function, including managing data requests and assisting in report development and undertaking basic analysis using Business Intelligence tools such as Excel and PowerBI.
- Examine and research reports, correspondence and submissions as directed for consideration/discussion and take further action as necessary.

**The successful personYou will have**:

- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and provide administrative, human resource and project support functions associated with the operation of the office of a senior or executive officer.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills
- A technical aptitude and demonstrated proficiency in the use of contemporary computerised systems. Experience in using ServiceNow to manage requests is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, utilise discretion and deal with matters in the absence of decision makers.
