About the role
We're looking for a skilled tax professional to support TWEs global tax team in maintaining compliance managing risk and driving strategic outcomes.
Reporting into the Tax Manager this role plays a key part in ensuring robust governance while delivering insights and advice across multiple regions.
Note : This is a 12-month parental leave cover contract
Provide high-quality tax advice on business transactions and opportunities
Support statutory reporting budgets forecasting and long-term planning
Assist with ATO enquiries audits and broader tax risk management
Lead and manage global tax transparency initiatives including Country-by-Country reporting
Provide indirect tax advice (GST / VAT Wine Equalisation Tax) and support R&D and excise compliance
Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business on strategic projects
About you
You're a technically strong and commercially minded tax professional who thrives in complex environments.
With deep expertise in tax compliance and advisory you're confident providing insights building relationships and delivering outcomes in line with business objectives.
Degree qualified in Commerce Law or a related discipline (CA preferred)
Strong technical tax knowledge with ability to resolve complex issues
Sound understanding of income tax tax effect accounting and financial statements
Exceptional time management skills and ability to deliver to strict deadlines
Strong relationship builder with confidence to take ownership and lead
