Are you an experienced Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioner with a passion for making real change? Multicap is growing fast and we're looking for skilled practitioners to join our specialist team supporting high-needs individuals transitioning from mental health facilities, correctional settings, youth justice, and long-stay hospitals.

We don't wait weeks to act, we respond fast and hands-on. Our tight-knit team brings extensive experience in complex environments and we specialise in intensive short-term interventions. Once stability is achieved, we connect participants to ongoing supports within Multicap.
Locations: Townsville/Mackay

What You'll Be Doing:
· Deliver high-quality behaviour support to individuals with complex needs.
· Conduct functional behaviour assessments and implement tailored PBS plans.
· Coach and support staff, families and stakeholders.
· Reduce restrictive practices and promote positive life outcomes.
· Collaborate with a highly skilled, passionate team of PBS professionals.
What You'll Need:
· Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related field.
· Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline.
· Registered PBS Practitioner with 2+ years' experience.
· Hands-on experience with high-risk and complex behaviour.
· Current Driver's Licence.
· Blue and Yellow Cards (or willingness to obtain).
Bonus Points If You're Studying:
A Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis, Honours or Master in Psychology, or a Grad Cert in ABA.

Multicap now have a new team which offers intensive short-term support to people who are transitioning out of Mental Health Facilities, Correctional Facilities including Youth Justice and or long stay Hospital settings.This team is a small specialist team who works with participants with High Risk and Complex behaviours. We have a very, hands on and fast responsive approach. We don't wait weeks to provide support or solutions. We pride ourselves on knowing the systems and transitions, as it is what we do.
