Role Overview
We are seeking to establish a pool of English Teachers for permanent and fixed‐term, full‐time and part‐time vacancies that may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027.

Students in Years 7 to 10 have access to engaging programs, including two Department of Education approved specialist programmes: Aviation Academy and the Media Arts Design Academy. The school also offers a Performance Plus programme, Soccer Academy and an Intensive Language Centre.
Responsibilities
As an English Teacher you will develop, deliver and assess the Western Australian Curriculum for all years, using a wide range of teaching models. You will take on course leadership responsibilities and support professional learning within the school community. Your teaching practice should be evidence‐based, reflective and result in improved outcomes and progression for students.
Qualifications
* Expert, passionate teaching of English with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
* Extensive knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and experience in developing and delivering the curriculum.
* Experience teaching any of the following subjects considered highly desirable: English (Lower school, ATAR and/or General), English as an Additional Language or Dialect (ATAR and/or General), English Literature (ATAR).
* Ability to work inclusively, cultivate a safe and accountable learning environment and motivate students across Year 7 to 12.
* Proficiency in the effective use of information and communication technologies in the teaching of English.
