How you will make an impact
As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse in Cabrini's Stroke/Neurology unit, you will play a vital role in advancing clinical practice in this field. Utilizing your skills and knowledge, you will make a difference in patients' lives and contribute to the optimization of the patient experience at Cabrini Malvern Hospital. Working within a supportive team environment that prioritizes quality patient care, you will have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally.
Full-time & part-time positions are on offer, with a variety of shifts available.
Applicants will be required to work a variety of shifts across a seven-day work week, including day and evening shifts, weekends, and public holiday
Key responsibilities
* Assisting in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with neurological disorders.
* Monitoring and documenting patients' vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment.
* Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and neurologists.
* Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
* Educating patients and their families on the management of neurological disorders and the prevention of complications.
About you
You are an experienced and compassionate Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about stroke and neurology care. You thrive in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, and are committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care within the Cabrini Mission and Values.
You will have:
* Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
* Relevant nursing qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an acute medical, stroke, or related speciality
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A compassionate, patient-focused approach
* Willingness to be an active, collaborative member of our team
