Experienced Scaffolders and Leading Hands are required to join our team in Sydney Metropolitan Area.
About the Role
* Work across residential, commercial and industrial projects ensuring scaffolds are erected, modified and dismantled safely, efficiently and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Erect, modify and dismantle aluminium, steel and mobile scaffold systems.
* Maintain general housekeeping on site and in the yard.
* Complete handover certificates, SWMS, checklists and job paperwork.
* Attend toolbox talks and implement any updates.
* Inspect scaffold gear, separate damaged items, and ensure trucks are properly packed.
* Keep company vehicles clean and fully stocked.
* Take site photos before and after work and report any pre-existing damage.
* Ensure scaffold tags, banners and corflutes are installed correctly.
Leadership & Client Interaction (Leading Hands)
* Walk through the job and SWMS with the team daily, ensuring they all sign.
* Communicate directly with clients regarding layout, heights and access requirements.
* Do not complete variations without estimator approval.
* Ensure incomplete scaffold signage is displayed until handover.
* Oversee productivity, minimise downtime and ensure labour is used effectively.
* Enforce PPE, uniform and safety compliance at all times.
* Report performance or conduct issues immediately.
* Ensure gear lists are provided to the yard by 1pm daily.
* Uphold TAS values, professionalism and presentation standards.
* Execute all jobs safely, efficiently and profitably.
* Consistently uphold TAS baseline standards.
* Maintain a positive attitude and influence team culture.
* Treat all clients and team members with respect.
* Take ownership of personal development and training.
* Work in alignment with OH&S procedures and TAS safety requirements.
