About the Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior React Native Developer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our technology stack and building our platform from scratch. As a Senior Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable mobile applications that meet our clients' needs. Experience with transactions and payments systems is highly preferred.
What You'll Do
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of our mobile applications using React Native.
* Collaborate with industry experts to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
* Integrate and manage transactions and payments systems within the mobile applications.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
* Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
* Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
* Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing timely solutions.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into our development processes.
* Work closely with the product team to prioritize features and enhancements.
* Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the applications.
Who You Are
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications.
* Proficiency in React Native development.
* Strong experience with front-end and back-end development frameworks.
* Experience with transactions and payments systems integration.
* Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
* Experience with database management and optimisation.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* A proactive, adaptable mindset in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to learn quickly and gain industry expertise in a short timeframe.
* Experience in Fintech, payments, novated leasing, fleet management is a plus.
