This position is located in: Tuggeranong
This role provides practical support, problem-solving and guides/coaches a caseload to enable participants to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Duties
* Mentor and support parents in individual sessions
* Run events locally to attract participants
* Assess participants needs and identify activities to support goals
* Lead group sessions in the community
* Connect participants with support/community resources and support networks to overcome challenges
What are we looking for?
* Lived experience (e.g., as a parent, carer, provider, community work etc)
* Cert III in a relevant field (e.g., community services, mental health, employment services) or willingness to work towards one
* A current driver's licence, required to travel within the Capital region and outlying areas such as Cooma and Young - Work vehicle supplied
* Ability to problem solve and break larger targets into smaller, achievable steps
