Overview
As a Diesel Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for the efficient maintenance and repair of a wide range of quality compact equipment at our Coffs Harbour workshop. This is a full-time role within the Agriculture & Construction machinery industry, based in Coffs Harbour and the North Coast region of NSW.

Responsibilities
* Diagnose, service and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and other components on a variety of compact plant and equipment
* Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements and general inspections
* Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and rectify faults
* Document all work completed and maintain accurate records
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
* Immediate Start
* Qualified Diesel Plant Mechanic, with a strong background in maintaining and repairing plant & diesel equipment
* Comprehensive technical knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, transmissions and other heavy plant components
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
* A current driver\'s licence and the ability to work in a hands-on, workshop workplace
