Our business is expanding in water dam and hydro operations. We are seeking an expert to lead this growth, focusing on mine water management services including water balance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership on mine water management projects.
* Mentor junior staff through technical support and feedback.
* Build strong client relationships and continually develop the business.
* Review project deliverables to ensure they meet our quality standards.
* Lead business development initiatives for mine water management.
* Collaborate with diverse teams from conceptual design to construction.
* Act as a technical resource fostering career development.
* Conduct site visits and travel within Australia and internationally.
Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or post graduate qualifications.
* Professional Engineering registration or ability to attain within a year.
* Knowledge of Australian guidelines and standards particularly AUS Rainfall and Runoff 2019.
* Experience with industry standard software for hydrologic (RORB, WBNM, URBS) and hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW, HEC-RAS).
* Preparation of engineering reports drawings and specifications.
* Enthusiasm to learn and increase technical skills and experience.
