We are seeking Expressions of Interest for a Deputy Chief Medical Imaging Technologist to support the team in Burnie, Tasmania.
As Deputy Chief MIT you will play a key role in supporting the Chief Radiographer/Area Chief and Regional Manager, coordinating day-to-day operations, supervising staff, and maintaining clinical excellence.
This is an ideal position for an experienced Radiographer looking to advance into leadership within I-MED.
The role will be full-time permanent or a minimum of four days a week.

Key Accountabilities
Plan and manage the daily technologist workforce and productivity in the clinic, ensuring appropriate staffing, leave planning, and sick leave management
Manage, develop, and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance across the clinics
Ensure outstanding service delivery and supervise day-to-day management of the Medical Imaging department
Lead quality improvement initiatives and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes
Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required
Establish and maintain strong cooperative relationships with key stakeholders
Key Selection Requirements
Ability to manage, coach, and lead clinic staff
Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality medical imaging examinations employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standard or above
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff, and other personnel verbally and in writing
Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network
