This role drives organisational direction by formulating and implementing a comprehensive strategy. You will analyse performance data to advise senior leaders on informed decision-making and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless adaptation to evolving trends and attainment of long-term goals.

Main Responsibilities
* Lead the development of strategic documents, ensuring integration and alignment across the organisation.
* Formulate the organisational business model, considering local government regulations.
* Oversee the integrated business planning cycle, guiding service planning process development and governance.
* Develop an Integrated Transformation Strategy and Framework.
* Manage annual Directorate, Department, and Business Unit business plans within established timelines.
* Govern the business planning process, ensuring effective planning considers capacity, capability, funding, and technology requirements.
* Establish Organisation KPIs and CEO Performance Plan.
* Track performance KPIs and report, providing strategic guidance and ensuring timely delivery of organisational performance reports.
* Take responsibility for delivering statutory and corporate reporting requirements.
* Lead Partnership Strategy and Strategic Partnerships Engagement Framework development, delivery, and maintenance.
* Develop, deliver, and maintain Innovation Strategy.
* Provide leadership and guidance to the Strategy and Performance team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Offer expert advice to the Executive team and Senior Leaders on strategic planning, strategy development, business model optimisation, service reviews, innovation, and data-driven decision making.

Essential Experience and Skills
* Degree in business, strategy, partnership management, business analytics, commerce, or related discipline, accompanied by extensive experience in a similar position.
* Able to challenge the status quo and manage change in complex environments.
* Skilled in facilitating workshops and conversations, influencing, negotiating, and gaining credibility with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
* Comprehensive knowledge of research methods, tools, processes, and software to undertake projects.
* Able to manage multiple priorities, deliver project outcomes, and achieve results in challenging situations.
* Able to work autonomously under broad direction, with performance measured against achievement of strategic goals and KPIs.
